About me a potted history
As an English Language and Literature undergraduate, I spent my mid-term breaks cutting my teeth as a young rookie in publishing. I was part of the digital revolution and I worked hard to climb the ladder.

So I became an Editor managing teams producing lifestyle and consumer magazines, planning content and layout, pitching to different markets, commissioning writers and contributors and overseeing the production process as a whole. I developed strong project management skills and exacting editorial standards working to tight schedules.

As the digital age took off, I grabbed the chance to move into Marshall Cavendish New Media, producing CD-ROMs and interactive content, planning and managing assets, creating content copy for programmers and signing off on final releases. From here, I had the experience I need to jump on board the ship to cyberspace.

As Group Editor for AOL Time Warner, I was channel manager for all lifestyle online content including Women, House & Home, Motoring, Pets, Horoscopes, Health, Teens, Classifieds, Weddings and more. From there, I had a wealth of contacts and copywriting projects with interactive companies, digital and creative agencies.

Keen to stay ahead of the curve, I have undertaken several technical training courses. I am Hubspot SEO and Hubspot Social Media Marketing certified and have Digital Marketing Level 5 and e-commerce web development diplomas. I am DBS security checked.

I am a team leader and creative thinker with solid, multi-faceted agency, corporate and non-profit experience. My core skills include content strategy, SEO, data-driven decision making and managing dynamic, engaging campaigns for optimal ROI and organic reach.
